Author and psychiatrist Charles Atkins , MD discusses how one goes from having a “book they always wanted to write” to becoming a published author.  It’s a no-nonsense approach to nurturing creativity, developing routines that work and surviving the rigors of the publishing industry.

He’ll present his just-released psychological thriller THE PRODIGY, which marks the start of a new forensic series, and show how the spark of an idea of an idea can be ignited into a mainstream novel or non-fiction book.

Books will be available for purchase and signing, with the profit to benefit the Jewish Federation.
